Wireless CAN Bridge
Wireless CAN Bridge
Wireless access to CAN bus data — J1939, ISOBUS, and raw CAN-FD — from a phone or laptop without a wired connection.
Agricultural and construction machinery generates rich diagnostic and operational data on the CAN bus. Accessing that data in the field typically means a laptop, a wired adapter, and standing next to the machine. The MicroCore Wireless CAN Bridge removes that dependency: compact, field-deployable, and designed for real working environments.
Native protocol support. SAE J1939 and ISOBUS (ISO 11783) at the application layer. Full protocol handling for the networks that agricultural and heavy machinery runs on.
Dual-mode Bluetooth. SPP for workshop laptops and diagnostic software that expects a serial port. BLE for modern mobile applications. Both transports operate simultaneously with no mode switching required. CAN-FD native from day one, backward-compatible with classic CAN at 250/500 kbps.
Specifications
CAN-FD Native
MCP2518FD SPI CAN-FD controller. Backward-compatible with classic CAN at 250/500 kbps. Supports the agricultural and construction industry's ongoing migration from classic CAN to CAN-FD.
J1939 + ISOBUS Native
SAE J1939 and ISOBUS (ISO 11783) application-layer support. Full protocol handling for the networks that agricultural and construction machinery runs on.
Bluetooth Dual-Mode
CC2564MODA — SPP (Classic BT) + BLE. SPP for legacy workshop diagnostic tools. BLE for modern mobile apps. Both simultaneously — no mode switching required.
STM32F407 Host MCU
ARM Cortex-M4. Selected for long product lifecycle, broad distribution availability, and proven performance in industrial embedded applications. Production-grade toolchain: STM32CubeIDE, HAL/LL.
Heat-Efficient PCB Design
Thermal layout optimised for continuous operation in enclosed, in-cab, and under-bonnet environments. No active cooling required.
